Take a minute and vote for my buds over at Hugging Harold Reynolds. They're up for the 2008 Weblogs Awards in the Best Sports Blog category.

I'm doing this because HHR is good friends with PSaMP, and they're facing a nearly insurmountable challenge. The current leaders have thousands of votes. HHR has a few hundred. So come on, people.

KSK SUCKS! APE IS A FAKE STEELERS FAN AND UFFORD IS A SEAHAWKS FAN WHO IS STILL PISSED ABOUT SUPER BOWL XL! THAT SITE IS NOT FUNNY AND SHOULDN'T WIN THE AWARD. ALL SUPPORT GOES TO HHR!

All joking aside, KSK is rightfully winning, because they have the readership and are one of the funniest sports blogs out there. Any other day, they'd probably get my vote. But I can't vote for them when my buds are directly competing.

And you should do the same. Vote for HHR!

Chinese People Love the Steelers

Man, I was all ready to write about MAF's comeback from injury, and how he was going to set the tone for the remainder of the Penguins season, but then I realized that I was gonna have to do a little research.

Then, I found this video of 3,000 Chinese people cheering for the Steelers. In unison, I might add. So my decision was this...look up stats and relate to MAFs injury from last season, or post this Youtube and do other stuff with my time.

Big Ben's Pool Is Sweet

From the lovable primate Christmas Ape and the DC Steeler Nation Yahoo group comes exclusive pictures of Ben Roethlisberger's hot-ass new pool in Gibsonia.

Looks like Ben bought his house a purty little present with all that extra cash that's been lying around. The pool cost $1.7 mil, chump change for the quarterback. That's be like me finding a $100 bill and taking $1 of it and murdering three digits worth of penny candy. It may seem a bit frivolous, but when you have an extra $99 million in the bank, you can afford whatever you want. These options include a pool with your football number tiled into the bottom or some Warheads and candy cigarettes.

Other features include a waterfall in which to hide from all those Gibsonia-based paparazzi and a shallow-end, granite-topped bar with sunken barstools. There's a grill somewhere as well.
